SignatureProfiler for Mail
Release 1.4.8 - 23 January 2008
- Aliases from .Mac were not being recognized properly by SignatureProfiler, so they could not be acted upon correctly, this has been fixed.
Release 1.4.7 - 20 January 2008
- The script feature now supports text that has newlines in it. The resulting text is wrapped in <pre></pre> tags to ensure that it is displayed properly.
Release 1.4.6 - 26 December 2007
- Fixed a bug that would prevent importing quote files that were in MacRoman format with non-ASCII characters.
- When importing quote files, it will now ignore any blank lines in the text file.
- Added a delete button to the text field displaying the quote file path, so you can "unload" a file cleanly.

- Fixed two problems relating to the script feature that could crash mail or just return an empty selection from a script.
Release 1.4.2 - 09 April 2007
- Fixed a problem with the Configure Mail Settings and Uninstall SignatureProfiler scripts.
- Added the ability to call scripts from within a signature, allowing you to incorporate any text output from a script into the signature. This is the most requested feature that I have had, so it need to be implemented.
- Added a random quotation feature in directly, so that users who are not very familiar with scripting can also take advantage of this capability.
Release 1.4.1 - 19 December 2006
- Fixed an incompatibility with the MailEnhancer plugin that was preventing the Signatures preferences to be shown.
- Did a small update to the Panther version (given the version number of 1.1) to fix a bug that prevented any text from showing in a message when forwarding a message.
Release 1.4 - 26 November 2006
- Changed the Oscured Email Address menu value in the Signature preferences which was inserting an incorrect value of {secure.email.address} instead of {obscured.email.address}
- In the Accounts Tab of the plugin's preferences a couple of the fields were not keeping thier position correctly when the window was resized.
- Changed some internal debugging values that had broke after the last version.
- Modified the version checking process to be able to handle more than x.y versions (i.e. x.y.z)
Release 1.3 - 6 November 2006
- Added more sophisticated handling of multiple email addresses per Account, including:
- Ability to choose a different Tail Signature for each address, or use the account's
- Ability to set a different Display Name for each address, or use the account's
- Added a Skype Button placeholder (specific user request) and a tab in the preferences to configure the button.
- Added context menu items in the Signature preference pane to insert the placeholders, so you can be sure to get the format correct.
- In that context menu also added the ability to add a link and an image to a signature
- Added the ability, through above context menu, to set the signature to an external HTML file or Web Archive!
- Added an automated version checking feature.
